Parking: We have one parking space per unit in our parking lot. If you have more than one vehicle, please park near the intersection of High and S. Laurel Streets near the school where there’s plenty of parking. Our neighbors will appreciate you!
Check Out: 11am. Please ask in advance if you need a late check out. Please feel free to relax and leave everything in the room for us to clear. If you want you can take your trash and recycling to our recycling bin in the parking lot.
Shared Spaces and Facilities: Our lovely courtyard is shared with all of our guests. Feel free to move the chairs and tables in the courtyard to suit your preference and the weather. We have a brazier table for copy outdoor evening gatherings
Cooking Facilities All of the units have Keurig coffee machines, hot water kettle, and tea bags. We have drip filters and decaf Keurig cups upon request. Just 3 blocks away you can find “Mix” a gourmet coffee and pastry shop and “Dobra Tea” for specialty teas. We have an outdoor grill for you to borrow. If there is some kitchen equipment you are really missing, ask us, we might have something to lend you!
TV: We have smart TVs which have television channels and Netflix. You are free to use your own streaming platform or cast to the TV's
Heating and Cooling: Most of our units have mini-split systems. The easiest way to operate them is to adjust the temperature up or down with the arrows on the remote. Keep the fan on auto. If you are in the Main House, the thermostat for the forced air system is in the living room, left of the bookcase. Turn it up or down to control the temperature. Please keep the switch for the fan on automatic
Getting Around: We are so close to the Ashland Plaza. We find its very pleasant to walk the back way along High Street, walk down steps to the Ashland Creek and cross the bridge to end up in the middle of everything. Check out "Our Recommendations" page on our website for more.
Children: We do love families. However, we are not well set up for children (we do not have safety rails around the pond or stairs, electrical outlet protection, etc. Ask us if you need moisture barrier for mattresses!)
Pets: We allow well behaved pets with responsible owners who pick up and clean after their furry friends in most of our units. Dogs should not be left alone on the property. Owners should keep their dogs in control, respecting other people and pets on the property. If you need a dog sitter, you can try Denise Daehler (541)4601-0770
