SLEEPING more than 1 bed: If you book for 3 people, we automatically provide 2 beds and charge $75 in our booking system. If you book for 2 people we automatically provide 1 bed. We can provide you with an additional roll-away bed or linens for an additional bed for $75 per stay. Let us know ahead of time if you want an additional rollaway bed and we can have it prepared for you. You can pay upon your arrival.
SMOKING: Any kind of smoking, vaping, candles or incense is not allowed on the property.
PETS: We welcome up to one pets/unit in all of the units with the exception of the Upper Suite. There is an additional $25/pet charge per stay. Dogs must not be left alone and need to be quiet, respectful of other pets and people. Their owners will continually pick up after their feces, peeing and hair - and so leave the units and the grounds in good condition at all times. If there are other pets on the property please monitor your pet to make sure everyone is getting along, or keep your pet indoors and attended. PARKING: We only have one parking space per suite. If you are bringing more than one vehicle the 2nd vehicle will need to be parked on the street.
HEATING & COOLING: Most of our units have mini-split systems. The easiest way to operate them is to adjust the temperature up or down with the arrows on the remote. Keep the fan on auto. If you are in the Main House, the thermostat for the forced air system is in the living room, left of the bookcase. Turn it up or down to control the temperature. TV: We have smart TVs which have television channels and Netflix. You are free to use your own streaming platform or cast to the TV's
SHARED SPACES & FACILITIES: Our lovely courtyard is shared with all of our guests. Feel free to move the chairs and tables in the courtyard to suit your preference and the weather. We have a brazier table for keeping warm for outdoor evening gatherings
COOKING: All of the units have microwaves, and refrigerators, Keurig coffee machine, hot water kettle, and tea bags. We have drip filters and decaf Keurig cups upon request. Just 3 blocks away you can find “Mix” a gourmet coffee and pastry shop and “Dobra Tea” for specialty teas.. Our Upper Suite, Lower Suite and Main House all have additional oven, range, and dishwasher. If there is some kitchen equipment you are really missing, ask us, we might have something to lend you
GETTING AROUND: We are so close to the Ashland Plaza. We find its very pleasant to walk the back way along High Street, walk down steps to the Ashland Creek and cross the bridge to end up in the middle of everything. Check out "Our Recommendations" page on our website for more.
EVENTS: We love helping host some events. Check in with us to ahead of time to make sure we're all on the same page.
CLEANING: We do not provide daily cleaning
ACCESSIBILITY:
Units: Our Rosebud and Main House do not have any stairs or steps. The entrance door is 32" and other doors are 30"
Lighting: We have exterior path lighting from the parking lot the units.
Toilets: We can provide an elevated toilet seat with handles upon request
CHILDREN: Sorry, we are not properly prepared to receive children and keep them safe. We do not have safety gates around the pond or steps, outlet protection, cordless window blinds, secure storage for cleaning products, moisture protection for beds, etc.
